"Craig, dear, it may be best to head back." Azul glances around them thoughtfully, then takes off his coat to wrap it around Craig's shoulders instead. "The storm's not too bad yet. We can take a different path up to the house. Would you be alright if I held your hand as we walk? I'd like to have an idea of where you are since the clouds have gotten so thick."
On impulse he presses a soft kiss on Craig's cheek before letting go of the coat, drawing back with a faint smile.
"When we get back we'll see about dinner, hm?"

Craig looked up at the darkening sky, frowning with concern. Sudden storms weren't exactly uncharacteristic for the area, but even he was surprised at how quickly this one caught up with them. What surprised him even more, however, was the feeling of Azul's coat being gingerly draped over his shoulders, notes of his scent still lingering on the fabric.
" Thank you, Azul, " he replied, his voice quiet. He hesitated for a moment, then reached out to take Azul's hand in his own. The warmth and solidity of it gave him some comfort amidst the uncertainty of the thickening mist.
The touch of Azul's lips on his cheek made Craig's heartbeat quicken. He blushed, feeling a mixture of surprise and elation at the simple gesture. As cool raindrops began to land on his skin, he pulled the coat tighter around himself.
" That sounds lovely, " he says, nodding in agreement. " It's too bad we have to head back already. But I can think of worse people to get stuck in the rain with. "
